Burmese students, who led in 1988 popular people uprising in Burma, crossed the Thai Burma border after military regime took over power September 1988. They formed All Burma Students Democratic Front (ABSDF) in 1988 and fought back Burmese army for freeing Burma. After serving in student army (ABSDF) in many years, Burmese students migrated to third countries and continue their study across the glob. Students, who migrated to San Francisco bay are, formed Association of Burmese Students San Francisco Bay area (ABSSF) in 2001 as necessary for their non violent struggle for freedom, justice and peace in their motherland, Burma. (ABSSF) is Socio-political activist organization and associated with recently founded International Foundation for Burma National Congress (IFBNC). IFBNC is newly founded International Institution for formation of Burma National Congress. (Special note: Burmese means all ethnics are included)
